Located in the Punjab region of Pakistan, the Khewra Salt Mine is one of the world's oldest and largest salt deposits — over 2,000 years of documented history and still one of the largest producers of Himalayan salt on earth.

Our salt is extracted from deposits formed over 600 million years ago, trapped deep within the Himalayan mountain range. This ancient geology creates the unique mineral composition and warm pink hue that distinguishes Khewra salt from all others.

Indus Terra directly partners with certified Khewra miners, ensuring every salt lamp, brick, and panel meets our strict quality standards before export.
